For the last few years I have been saying how I did not understand the new popularity of this model. Now, I must tell you, I now understand the excitement; it is all driven by Italian collectors who have even gone so far as to bestow a new name on the watch now drive the demand for the model. A few years ago there was an attempt to name this model the "Gregory Peck" but it never caught on; however I have heard several Italians refer to this model as "Frecceone" (it means "Big Arrow").
